Who doesn't love a face mask? I certainly do. When life is going wrong I just put on a face mask and voila everything is fixed.... I wish, but hey at least your face looks nice even if you aren't having a great day.
So here I am showing you the four face masks I own and my reviews on these. I've used many other face masks before but these are ones I have that are in containers and not just packaged ones that contain one face mask at a time.
To start off one of the plus sides of all of these products are that you can get many usages out of them, making the very handy and worth their price.
Now for the individual reviews:
1. Quick fix facials
- Exfoliating scrub for black heads and blocked pores
This is a great cheap mask to really scrub away at dry skin. Its a medium consistency and spreads nicely across the face without using too much out of the container.
It’s advertised to ‘fix’ stubborn and reoccurring black heads. It's also shown to fix problem skin etc, which I wouldn’t say was that accurate as skin is to do with health and hydration as well as skin products. However it is a good scrub mask to use as leaves my face feeling soft after use. £4.99
2. St Ives Nourish and Smooth
- Oatmeal scrub & mask
This face mask is advertised to 'soften skin and smooth away dryness. I must say I do completely agree with this. I use this face mask when my skin feels dry and needs a good scrub always leaving my face super soft.
This is defiantly my number one go to face mask out of the four. Its made out of 100% natural exfoliants, which are not too harsh for the skin at all. £5.70
3. Quick fix facials
-Purifying charcoal for congested lifeless skin
This mask has a thick consistency and you need quite a bit to cover the whole face, probably because its a dark colour you can see where you've missed. It has defiantly got a strong smell which I wouldn't say was subtle, I think its because it has cinnamon extract in it.
Its advertised again to 'fix' your skin. Which I'd say after using I don't see any major differences, it makes my skin feel fresh afterwards but nothing amazing. £5.29
4. Quick fix facials
-Brightening peel for dull and uneven skin tone
I'm not a massive fan when it comes to peels, I just find them strange on my skin. I prefer a scrub or a hydrating mask as it feels it actually does something This peel is very sticky, its also not very easy to pull off causing more hassle, I like face masks to be quick and easy.
Advertised to fix the dullness of the face, I haven't really stuck using this product as I didn't enjoy it. Therefore I'm not sure it does this. £4.99
